I have AMEX/ DSNB account showing first in my credit repo

I have AMEX/ DSNB account showing first in my credit report, i used to have amex, but i am pretty sure I owe them nth, and i am never late on payments, its a closed account tho, so anyone has any ideas where to call to fix this?

Also CBNA. I dont even have a clue what that account is?

AMEX/DSNB is a Macy's card. AMEX supplies you with credit for them. A lot of "branded" cards are really offered by a credit card company. AT&T, PAYPAL, and even Exxon are supplied by the likes of Citi, AMEX, and GE.

If you are sure that the AMEX account had no history of payment default or the account has been paid off, send a letter of dispute to the credit reporting agency. You will also find details of the CBNA account from the credit report itself.

We have the same company showing up on our report. We have checked it out and it is the Macy's credit card. Another note check the interest rate......24%......hmmmm?
